What is this conference about?

WEGO Mission Conference is part conference, part mission trip, where high school students will work together to reach the local community through their words and actions.

Start Date: Thursday, July 7 at 7:30 pm

Ending Date: Sunday, July 10 at 2:00 pm

Ages: 14-19 – High School

Parents: We would love for you to come and work alongside your teen!!

Activities:

This is a working mission trip – here are some of the activities that we have planned;

-Serve Local Families through acts of service

-Develop your own Video Testimony

-Help Coordinate the West Chicago Railroad Days Parade

-Assist with Railroad Days Fireworks logistics (sorry the actual fireworks are handled by the fireworks company)

-Learn through practical training in how to share your faith and invite others to hear about the truth that can change their lives

-Build relationships that will last a lifetime

-Work on a video drama team to witness to God’s power to change a persons life

-Help the local town and high school with service projects to help make a difference in 2016.

-Worship and learn together

-Serve, play, grow together!

What is WEGO?

WEGO stands for the town of WEST CHICAGO – an abbreviation used by the local community and school districts.

What to Bring?

This is a working conference!!  Please bring clothes and shoes that you are not afraid to get dirty, as we will be helping local families and the town with a variety of activities.  Specific things to bring;

            Lightweight sleeping bag

            Sleeping pad or air mattress

            Sunscreen & hat

            Walking shoes (you will be walking!)

            Bible & pen

            Completed Hold Harmless form

            Work clothes & shoes
