We take the example from Acts 2:42 that the early church was devoted to breaking bread and remembering the sacrifice of Jesus Christ together:
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (NIV)
We break bread as a whole church during our regular church service once a month.
We “break bread” together once a month outside of the service, in medium sized groups that include a meal, singing, praying, and sharing communion. We also break bread as a whole church during our regular church service once a quarter.
